Alocasia Cuprea 'Red Secret'

Alocasia Cuprea 'Red Secret' is a jewel Alocasia variety with reflective, metallic foliage. The stiff, shield-shaped leaves have a copper-red sheen that shifts depending on the light angle. Sunken, dark veins create a quilted texture across the upper surface, while the back of each leaf is a solid maroon-purple color. This naturally compact, dark-foliage collector's plant is suitable for vivariums, plant shelves, or humid display cabinets.

Hardiness zone (USDA zone): 10-12.
Light: Bright indirect light. Direct sun washes out the metallic coloration and burns the glossy surface.
Watering: Keep the medium lightly moist but never saturated. Wait until the substrate is half-dry before watering. Using distilled or rainwater prevents tip browning.
Temperature: 65–85°F (18–29°C). Protect from cold drafts and temperatures dropping below 60°F (15°C).
