Alocasia Maharani (Grey Dragon) — a rare jewel Alocasia hybrid featuring thick, leathery leaves with a rugged, scale-like texture. The stiff matte grey-green blades are highlighted by prominent silvery-green veins. Perfect for compact indoor plant collections, plant cabinets, and high-humidity terrariums. This exotic dwarf plant stays under 14 inches and is highly valued for its prehistoric, sculptural look.

Hardiness zone (USDA zone): 9-11.
Light: Medium to bright indirect sunlight. Keep away from direct sun to prevent leaf bleaching and scorch marks.
Watering: Keep the soil consistently damp but not soggy. Allow the top layer of soil to dry before watering again. Use filtered, distilled, or rainwater to prevent dry edges.
Temperature: 65–80°F. Protect the plant from cold drafts and temperatures below 60°F.
Humidity: 60% or higher. Forms best in a plant cabinet, terrarium, or near a humidifier.
Soil: Chunky, loose, well-draining substrate. A mix of peat moss, perlite, orchid bark, and charcoal works best for root aeration.
Fertilizer: Every 4 weeks during spring and summer using balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer at half strength. Do not fertilize in winter.
