You will receive a plant very similar to the one pictured.

Calathea Warscewiczii is a large tropical plant from Central and South America. It has big, long leaves that feel soft like velvet. The top side of the leaf has a green feather pattern, and the bottom side is a dark purple color. At night, the plant naturally folds its leaves up like hands in prayer, and opens them again in the morning. It also grows small, cone-shaped flowers that change color from cream to pink.

Calathea Warscewiczii Care Guide:

Hardiness zone (USDA zone): 10–12.
Light: Bright indirect sunlight only, as direct hot sun will easily burn the delicate velvet leaves and cause patterns to fade.
Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but never soggy, watering thoroughly when the top inch of soil feels dry, and always use filtered or distilled water to avoid crispy edges.
Temperature: Maintain warm indoor conditions between 65°F and 80°F, ensuring the plant is never exposed to cold window drafts or air conditioning vents.
Humidity: Requires high humidity levels of 60% or above, so using a humidifier or a pebble tray is necessary to stop the leaves from turning brown.
Soil: A loose, well-draining potting mixture rich in organic matter, such as a combination of peat moss, perlite, and orchid bark.
Fertilizer: Apply a diluted, balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer once every month during the active spring and summer growing season.

It is advisable to purchase a heat pack during cold weather: Heat Pack
