The Cissus Adenopoda, recently reclassified as Cyphostemma Adenopodum, is a rare and highly sought-after tropical climbing vine. Its tri-foliate leaves are covered in soft, reddish-pink hairs that feel like velvet to the touch. The young growth and the undersides of mature leaves display a striking, vibrant burgundy-pink hue. As the plant matures, it develops underground tubers at the root level, making it a unique specimen for collectors.

Cissus Adenopoda Care Guide:

Hardiness zone (USDA zone): 10-12.
Light: Bright indirect. Helps maintain vibrant pink and burgundy colors. No direct sun.
Watering: Moderate. Water only when top 1 inch of soil is dry. Sensitive to overwatering.
Temperature: Warm 65–80°F. Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 55°F.
Humidity: Medium to high. Use a humidifier or a pebble tray. Do not mist the velvety leaves.
Soil: Well-draining, light, and airy mix. Ensure the pot has drainage holes.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer diluted to half-strength every 4 weeks during spring and summer.
