African Violet Care Guide:
Hardiness zone (USDA zone): 11-12 (keep indoors).
Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct hot sun to protect the foliage from burns.
Watering: Water from below when the top layer of soil has dried out. Always use room-temperature water.
Temperature: Best at standard household temperatures between 65°F and 75°F. Keep away from cold windows and chilly drafts.
Humidity: Maintain a moderate humidity level around 40-60%. Do not spray or mist the leaves directly to avoid spots.
Soil: Loose, well-draining potting mix created specifically for African Violets.
Fertilizer: Feed every 2-4 weeks during the active spring and summer growing season using a balanced, urea-free liquid plant food diluted to one-quarter strength.
