Excellent bioactive clean-up crew for your terrariums and vivariums! These young Armadillidium vulgare adapt incredibly fast to new setups and will quickly establish a thriving colony. They can naturally show slight color variations and are of mixed ages, sizes, and genders.
Substrate: Moist soil/coco coir mixed with plenty of leaf litter and decaying wood.
Moisture Gradient: Keep one side damp/mossy and the other side dry.
Ventilation: Moderate. They prefer slightly more airflow than tropical species.
Base Diet: Leaf litter (oak/maple) and rotting wood must be available 24/7.
Calcium: Essential for their shells. Provide cuttlebone or eggshell powder.
Supplemental Food: Protein flakes (fish food), organic veggies (carrots, squash).
