Ships in pot. Pot size 3.5".

You will receive a plant very similar to the one pictured.
Number and size of pitchers may vary.

After transportation: Please note that pitchers are drained for transportation. Please pour distilled water in each pitcher (approximately 1/4 - 1/3 of its volume). It happens you may receive a plant with dying or dead pitchers after shipping. It is a normal occurrence due to shipping stress and the plant may loose all its pitchers. Please just cut off dead pitchers/leaves - the plant will grow new leaves with new pitchers soon.

Soil:  Prefers a well-draining soil mix. A mix of peat moss (pH 3-5) and perlite or quartz sand (2:1) works well. The use of a neutral or alkaline substrate will lead to the death of the plant.

Light: Bright, indirect light is preferable. Morning and evening sun, shade during the day. Сan withstand some direct sunlight but excessive exposure may lead to burns on the leaves and pitchers. You can also place the plant near a window or other source of  bright, filtered light.

Temperature: Hardiness Zone (USDA Zone): 10-11. Prefers warm temperatures between 60-90°F (15-32°C). It can tolerate slightly cooler temperatures, but avoid exposing the plant to temperatures below 60°F (15°C).

Watering: Medium. Requires consistently moist, but not waterlogged soil. Use distilled (or deionized with reverse osmosis) water or rainwater to water the plant, as it is sensitive to minerals and chemicals found in tap water. Tap water may kill Nepenthes plants.

Humidity: Requires high humidity levels to thrive. Aim for humidity levels more than 50%. Place a tray of water near the plant or use humidifier to increase humidity if necessary.

Fertilizer: Provided with natural access to insects Nepenthes plants will “feed” themselves. Do not feed them meat or cheese as well as other human food for this will likely rot and kill the pitcher. If feeding is desired, drop in a few freeze dried bloodworms, dead crickets, wasps or similar insects. You can also use a special fertilizer for insectivorous plants. Note that overfeeding will cause the pitcher to rot and die.
