Tradescantia Nanouk Care Guide:
Hardiness zone (USDA zone): 10-12.
Light: Bright, indirect, and filtered light. Bright light helps maintain the vibrant pink variegation. Avoid direct hot afternoon sun.
Watering: Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil feels dry. Keep the soil evenly moist but never soggy. If rooting in water, change the water weekly.
Temperature: Ideal range is 65F to 75F. Protect from drafts and temperatures below 50F.
Humidity: Adapts well to average household humidity levels, but prefers around 40% to 50%.
Soil: Loose, aerated, and well-draining soil mix (a blend of standard potting soil, perlite, and peat moss).
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer diluted to half-strength every 4 weeks during spring and summer. Do not fertilize unrooted cuttings until they develop roots.
It is advisable to purchase a heat pack during cold weather: Heat Pack
