Light: Bright, direct, or intense filtered light. Full sun helps the plant produce a high volume of sticky, glistening dew drops.

Soil: Nutrient-poor, acidic medium. A blend of pure peat moss and perlite or long-fibered sphagnum moss. Never use standard potting soil or fertilizer-loaded mixes.
Fertilizer: Never use commercial fertilizers on the soil. The plant catches small insects for nutrients. You can occasionally drop a tiny bug or a speck of freeze-dried bloodworms on the leaves.
